Rainy Day Philosophy

If an alien came to earth, it could learn most of what it needed to know about humans by watching drivers on a rainy day.

Specifically, drivers on roads where there are blocked drains, huge puddles and pedestrians on the pavement.

Most will drive carefully around the water, as far as is possible.

A few obviously don’t notice the puddles, and drive on with a look of shocked remorse.

And some will take great pleasure in driving at speed through the buggers, and laughing as they leave hapless souls standing sodden on the pavement.
